screenprinting help
I know some of you have some experience with decals and screenprinting so I was wondering if any of you know of a way to get a decal off a t-shirt? Its not a big one, maybe 3-4 inches long and two inches tall. I've got three days to get it off a shirt sleeve. Any good ideas?

But this is something that is already printed onto the fabric and you want it off? I'm sorry I don't think it's possible, short of a patch or overprint.

Some really old silk-screens usually get very flaky and it's pretty easy to get that stuff off..but if it's a new shirt..I'd say get a shirt without a decal or if you send me $5 I'll send you one of my old shirts..

haha. Okay so the story behind it is that I've got my Formal for my fraternity this week. On the back of everyone's t-shirt is their name. My date was the girl I had been seeing for the last 4 months until we had a falling out last week. It was actually over something she could have talked to me about sooner (like a week earlier even) But instead she seem to have the subconcious ability to know that she should back out of the trip the day after the shirts went to press. So now my date, who is named Rayanne gets to wear a shirt bearing the name of Jade.
I tihnk I might just cut a perfect rectangle in a piece of cardboard and fabric paint it all just solid green (the color of the text). Any other good ideas?

this is easier to fix if you're doing the printing yourself, but you can always make a block print over the first name (in whatever color you want, but you'll have better luck with the same shade or darker), and then stencil in your new date's name in another color over the block print (let it dry first).
oh, and good job moving on to the next one so fast. it sounds pretty sleazy, but i know that's a quality i look for in all of my dates.

Rayanne? Jade? If you ask me, these people sound like "women of the night." If that's the case, I think Rayanne will let you call her "Jade" for $50 extra.
