Recommend a look?

So I'm wondering if I should go for the crusty punk look with dirty black jeans and maybe a denim jacket with the sleeves ripped off and patches all over it, or if I should go more 'traditional messenger' and just get some camo cargo shorts to go with my messenger bag?

Then I keep wondering if I should buy some Rapha gear and some clipless shoes and pretend to be a roadie?

I just intend to ride to the local coffee shop and sometimes to the local supermarket.

Any advice would be much appreciated, getting the right look is really important to me.

Applesauce, you're all wet! I'm not saying I know from nothing, but you got yourself all balled up flappin your gums! Ain't nobody gonna think you're a big six bimbo with that baloney. You don't need to doll yourself up with glad rags for folks to think you're all hotsy totsy. People are only gonna think you're a palooka puttin on the ritz or actin like a rag-a-muffin. To be the real mccoy you gotta be a darb and be yourself, it's the berries! Co-pa-cetic! So dry up and don't take any wooden nickels. Lifes a whoopee when you're on the trolley!

Now that this thread has had a few replies, I just thought I'd clarify that it was merely a parody of the 'Recommend a lock?' thread.

Carry on.

Be ahead of the curve and go for the grunge-revival look. Lumberjack shirt with sleeves ripped off, Sub-Pop tee, beanie, shorts, DMīs. Party like itīs 1991
