Skid Stopping?

I recently converted my old bianchi to fixed gear, and so far its sick, but does anyone have any advice on how to skid stop (and yes, I know it wears down your tires) all advice is welcomed

Just get waaaaaaaaaay out over your front wheel and lock your legs. That's it, that's all it takes.

You must first drink excess amounts of pbr tallboys. Then, you must ascend the looming beer can mountain and meditate atop it on the zen of riding a fixie on the streets. 3 months later when you come down from your lofty perch with that ironic mustache that says "I don't give a ****!" you are ready to become one with the skid.

pretty simple, just sort of lean / turn the bike. it's easier to learn in the rain. it's not that practical in heavy traffic, though.

ambidextrious skids are my favorite. half the skid have one foot forward, than the 2nd half throw the other foot forward. add 2 fishtails in that and you're good to go.

for me it's just a matter of what the situation is. heavy congested traffic, i'd rather skip mostly. hauling ass to the light but having it turn red before i can make it through on a decent street, the hockey stop works for me.

skip stops while turning in a zig zag motion do it for me too...
