To true or not to true?
Hiya,
I recently bought and am waiting for this wheelset from an eBay seller called Fly Bike Shop. Has anyone ordered from them before? They say their wheels are handbuilt so I would tend to trust that the wheels don't need trued when I get them. What would you do? Throw them on right away and roll?
Thanks.

If i were you i would put the wheels on and spin them and check how true they are with your finger, if they are not satisfacty send em back. If they are true, go ride

anytime u get wheels in the mail, many say to have them trued b/c it's a bumpy road to ur front step. i've ordered from them, they are fast and pretty accurate. i wouldn't true them unless it is some crazy wobble. plus u could always just learn how to true them urselve

I can do basic truing myself, it's the tension part that I don't trust my self judging with my fingers.

If the adjustments are minor I wouldn't worry about tension problems unless it was built poorly to begin with.
