what are peoples plans?

my plan is to pay off the rest then wait till early july when it actually will come

Have you heard something besides the 1.5 month old update on iro's site? Because while he does say may 25th, he also says he'll contact us two weeks before the frames get to him so we can complete the order and talk about build kits, etc. I don't know about other people, but I haven't heard a thing from IRO and neither have my 3 friends who ordered...

Before someone tells me to just call Tony, I don't really care that much, so I won't bother him. I have another bike and I just assumed all sorts of threads would pop up to let me know when it was time.

i already rode mine for a month and then sold it on ebay for 500$!

But seriously, I was wondering about the new site. Some things that were advertised on the old site are not there. Like the wheelsets. Is that just an oversight or did he give up selling wheelsets? I was really looking forward to buying those dark matter wheels that got great reviews from our peers through on bike experience.

I think the website means they'll be done in Taiwan on May 25.
They'll be on a shipping container for a few weeks after that. Then
they have to be trucked across the United States, from LA to PA,
and then sorted and shipped to us. Don't get excited yet.

so the frame sets will ship FROM taiwan TO iro at the end of may

it takes 30 days for the frames to get to iro FROM taiwan

two weeks before the frames get TO iro tony will send an email to complete orders



the "end of may" = may 25th

so if they leave taiwan on or around may 25th and ride on a boat for 30 days they get TO iro until late june

according the to schedule you can expect an email in mid june to complete your order and then at the end of june or start of july the frame will be shipped TO you

1) put parts on it
2) ride it

i'm sure this was mentioned somewhere in the million threads, but the seatpost is 26.8 right? my feeble search attempts turned up nothing of worth

PS, if anyone needs the blue 1" threaded fork (from this iro group buy), lemme know. I probably won't be using mine.

Get wheels built(hubs/wheels/spokes should be in this week), find a BB, head set, seat post, seat?, GOOD TUBES?TYRES(suggestions?) and bars. until then ride my beat fuji

I wonder if the frames will be stamped with a 1-400 serial number...
