large, black...
...chainrings. :D
do they make them? like in 54-tooth? (i'm spec'ing out a build on a swift folder frame. rag on me for color-matching if you wish.) the only ones i've found are by FSA, and not only do they have huge tacky logos, they're more than twice as expensive as, say, a silver sugino 54t chainring. i also checked out the salsa chainrings, and for some reason only the small sizes come in black. |
they are made in 52 tooth, 3/32"

The FSA trac kchainrings aren't to pricey. Why so big?

gipiemme 53 144bcd 1/8''

From businesscycles:
Sugino 75 (matte black anodized) 1/8" 46, 47, 48, 49 - $79.50 50, 51, 52 - $84.50 53, 54, 55 - Coming |
From the custom chainrings thread?:
54t will only give you about 60 gear inches, I run 53x16(road) and 53x14(track) on 24" wheels to give 75 and 86 inches. You might want to go for a 60t chainring just to give you more gearing options, but it would be a bit costly. |
stronglight does some big ones, but you'll probably have to go through xxcycle.com. Shipping is like $10, but the prices are good overall.
|
TA should have them..
