just here to say
ken cox rox |
Next month, I'll be 62.
Haven't been able to ride fixed since surgery in October because I have to stand and take the pressure off every now and then. I ride my SS MTB now with 42x17 and can cruise at 15 mph at a cadence of ~80, sprint for up to two minutes at 90/18 mph and go 110/20mph for a short burst. I am up to 16 to 20 miles a day now. My first day back on the bike in December, I went three miles and had to stop 3 times to rest. I think on my birthday, I'll drag out the Kogswell (3502 in sig) and get reacquainted. |

age
48 and soon to be 49......just started ridng my junk parts SS and love it. I agree completely with Ken. I did the wrong training stuff in my teens and twenties because I didn't know any better and later I worked way too many hours a day (12-20), stressed all the time, drank too much, ate too much and didn't excercise at all for about 12 years. Now I am paying for it and I am lucky to be alive after having had cancer five years ago. Take care of your knees if you like cycling and your health in general. ;)

Integrate sin squared divided by e to the sign x over the interval 3 to 4 and you get my age.
|
61.

dearest Hocam,
your math is flawed.
