Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

How about a universal bar thread?

Yeah. I bought the bike on eBay with the Ritchey Aero Road front and Ritchey Aero OCR rear, but the hub the rear was laced to was stripped when I got the bike (did NOT make me happy, avoid eBay seller veloprobike, communication was awful) so I haven't gotten around to building that rim into a new wheel, so I just threw a spare Weinmann DP18 on the back.

What problems are you having with the stock wheelset? Stripped hub? Truing?
