I can not make out all the writing on the sticker and can find no stampings.. I can read made in Italy.. also MOD GRANC___ ..HELP.. is the bottom bracket custom or did someone make this like that.. Just trying to find out all the details for this bike before I sell it..

just give it to me

Why would someone engrave "HELP" on a bottom bracket?
Were they being held against their will? That's not the best place to get a message out. One doesn't look at one's bb very often. |
Cut outs in BB shells are common among some high end bikes. A lot of the Italians did it like that. I have a star cutout in the BB shell of my Viner. As for who made the bars I can't help. Only two bar manufacturers in Italy I know of are Cinelli and Ambrosio.

I'm going to guess that the bars are 3Ts... I don't know if they ever spelled it out as 'TTT' but that's what 2/3rd of the middle section seems to say.
|
yep.. i think those are 3ttt bars as well.
|
They did spell it out "ttt" at times. And it looks like you're missing your BB sleeve - helps keep your bearings clean.

The bars are t.t.t. which stands for Techno Tubi Torino, and which is now 3T, I believe that they evolved from Ambrosio.
It is a Bottom Bracket Shell, the spindle, bearings and cups are the "Bottom Bracket". The shell would have been slotted by the builder. vjp |
yes tecno tubo torino
