awesome thanks guys.

i've also noticed a little bit of side to side movement in the handlebars? does that mean i need to tighten the headset?

this also might be a stupid question, but which way do i turn the lockring and cog in order to loosen? normal counter-clockwise?

I might have a way to remove the decals if theyre silk screened on without damaging the paint. But unfortunately i have to wait till friday till my bike arrives to test this method.

aww nevermind... i thought it was just silk screened over the paint...

Does anyone think its worth it to powder coat your frame if you really want to keep it.
Or is this bike only beater worthy?

s0ldats...
Yes your headset is most likely loose. If you do not know what you're doing have it done by someone that does. I'm not being snarky. If you tighten it too much you can screw lots up. Lockrings tighten lefty loosen righty, the opposite of the cog. Turn the wrench toward the front of the bike or clockwise to loosen it.

Does anyone have sounds coming out of the headset when pressure is applied on the bars? (going up hill). I can't figure out what it is. I have tightend the stem, and pretty sure the headset is tight as well.

Anybody having this problem? I have to grease the stem every 2 weeks. Also, now the stock pedals are making clicking noises. This is one noisy as$ bike.

yeah, my stem makes the same sound, I changed the bars and still does it, my friend changed his stem and it doesn't make the sound anymore I don't think. My pedals started making the clicking noise as well, and not 2 weeks later the crank arm was stripped out. Had the bike for 3 weeks before it stripped out. I was a little pissed about that. The bike is facking loud, but it sure rides nice

I'm thinking of buying one. Does anyone have the 60 (I'm 6'4") and does it still have toe overlap? Also, how long is it taking to get shipped/arrive?

edit: just bought the 60CM Green.

That one should fit you fine.

I'm 6'2" and tried out a 60cm Flite in the LBS. It just barely brushed up against my nether regions (but then again, I'm well hung...). You're a couple of inches taller, it should fit fine.

Shipment depend on where you live. They'll send you tracking info.

I've used several of these including my Kilo TT and it works fine...sure makes changes stems easier plus it adds a bit of "new school" bling....

Does anybody know if you get charged a duty fee to send these to Canada? Or typically do you get charged extra to ship bicycles across the border?

Depending on country of manufacture, complete bikes can carry a 13% duty.
I've never imported a whole bike, so I don't know how often this actually gets applied. Most bike parts imported in to canada are duty free.

You will definitely have to pay 6% GST on the purchase/declared price of the bike
Depending on your province you might have to pay PST as well (not the case in BC)

Finally depending on your choice of shipping company you might also have to pay a brokerage fee - the fee the shipping company charges you to clear the package through customs, and front the money for the tax/duties etc.
If it gets shipped USPS, then Canada Post charges you a flat $5 fee.
If it gets shipped FedEx/UPS then your brokerage fee is going to be insanely high.

also, how is the gear ratio set on these completed bikes? Does it come with a couple different chainrings and cogs or is it preselected for you?

Question?

im currently debating to continue with my original plan and buy an iro mark v frame and set it up or just go with this bike...considering i already have a new wheel set bars headseat and stem to put on the iro build, which means i can easily upgrade the mercier right when i get it....the bike will be used for commuting pretty much everywhere local.
