question has been asked a million times in this thread. Kilo TT decals are under the clear coat. People with blank frames bought theirs of bikeisland.

BENNOCKSIT 09-14-08 04:12 PM

Wow, that black one of the previous page is niccce. I am loving to see the different stuff people are doing to their kilo's

sergioh 09-14-08 06:08 PM

Does anybody have any pictures of the Kilo TT with the stock threadless stem? Does it look the same as the one that's in the picture of the Kilo TT pro on the BD website?

EDIT: I took a look around the thread, and found some pics, my bad guys. dat's why it says newbie under mah name.

newbie here, first post ever! woooo! How would I make Shimano Ultegra BB6600 Rear brakes compatible in the front of my MKTT? is it even possible?

Understanding 09-16-08 10:31 PM

i can't wait until they get their new stock of frames in.

and then i can't wait to have that cash to spare.

then i'll have to wait for them to be instock again....

if i can manage it, i'll just jump on the lastest group buy.

Does Bikeisland list the Kilo frames as a Kilo frame or is this actually it?

That's an SE Lager frame.

Understanding 09-17-08 06:03 AM

i think they say the kilo frames are threaded.

barnzy 09-17-08 07:31 AM

After much debate, i finally ordered one of these last week. Now the waiting starts ...

ZIP, what type of bars are they?

It's valid question. The new Merciers are obviously threadless but Bike Island shows threaded on their site. If you read the post before mine hes referring to Bike Island.

I'm just making sure there's no misinformation on Bike Island like there is on the BD site.
I would rather build up my Kilo without decals.

So...

gutsofgold 09-17-08 05:32 PM

They're Profile Design risers I got from my brother, and I've been very happy with them.

Anyone know where to find a brake set (caliper and lever) other than Bikeisland? I was hoping to find a black set.

corter 09-18-08 12:16 AM

what handlebars you got on that, and are you running freewheel?

corter 09-18-08 10:10 AM

i'm not sure what the bars are, they came off a mountain bike and were tall enough to balance out the drop stem (made the bike with spare parts, had to use what i could get).

and yes, it's a single speed with a freewheel, though i'm not sure of the gearing (48/16 i think). built it for groceries, bar nights, and days when i'm too lazy and want to coast down hills. i've got a basket to put on to...haven't gotten around to it yet
