wh wouldn't I be able to barspin on it if I put on shorter handlebars and take off the brakes. Is there too much of an overlap, ifso then can I change the cranks and pedalsto make it spinnable?

I'm planning on buying a 1" threaded fork to replace the original threadless. Can anyone tell me how long the steer-tube should be for a size 50 frame?

im not sure thats the best idea. in fact i think i read that the fork is not easily replaced at all.

why did you want to make that switch anyway? for a specific fork or for the stem?

Both really. I have already have a nice nitto quill and bar from my old bike and I find chrome forks to be more aesthetically appealing, which I happen to have one.

Did you pick up on why it was hard to replace? I changed my forks on a number of occasions before, never posed a problem. However, I've never worked with theadless forks before, so maybe I'm missing something.

if you're talking about the decal-less frames:

"Hello and thanks for your interest in our frames. We are expecting a shipment, but as of now we are unsure when. We will have them posted on the front page of our site as soon as they arrive. Thanks"

got that email yesterday
