I'm constantly impressed with the way kilos look with a little bit of customization. There have been so few that I didn't care for (mainly just stickered bikes... I'm not a big fan of those).

same thing in the other direction, colors available on BD, but not on BI.

anybody know why this is?

ALSO: @ adriano, syncmaster, and cc700

the internet makes the world seem like a smaller place. in reality though, all three of you have ill looking bikes and live nowhere near each other. i wouldnt sweat it if i were you guys. amazing job and props to all three of you.

that been said, if you guys are still looking to mix it up a bit, im going to be ordering a teal wheelset (velocity deep v) in the near future. if any of you want to swap me a white deep v for a teal one, front wheel ONLY, unless your rear wheel has a fixed fixed hub. however, since my wheels would be brand new, i would like some cash in addition to the wheel. let me know what you guys think...
Thanks for the kind words. I don't plan on swapping out my wheels anytime soon though. I think I'll just ride them into the ground. And my wheels are Weinman dp18s so a trade for a velocity might not be the most fair....

Why don't you just order White deep v's?

It was an after picture the first time, just a harder angle to look at

Are the "Mercier" and "Kilo tt" logos painted or decals? Also, are they under the clear? I'm just wondering how hard it would be to remove them before I buy one.

I think they're decals placed after the powder coat but before the last gloss coat. So in order to get them off you have to somehow get the gloss coat off while not messing with the powder coat? Not sure.

Basically I don't think you can remove them without having to repaint the whole frame.

Is it the same with the Kilo TT Pro? From the pictures on BD they look painted on then cleared over. If thats the case, I could wet sand them off, then just shoot the clear again. But if they're decals it might not be possible.

Update: added water bottle cage, Novara grips, Sugino 46T chainring, and odyssey mono brake lever. Ready to take her out.
