whatever, i like the aerospoke, i think it goes well with the purple frame. only thing i'd change is the angle of those bars.

holy crap, ive only been a member for a few hours and i gotta tell ya.. there are DEFINATELY more haters here than car forums whats with the hate? coz its his first fixie? give me a break. You guys are complaining non-stop about his mods on his bike when he did say it was just a one day build... so i doubt its done.

It's funny, because you all jumped into the trend by getting a fixie in the first place.

Recession, looking good! your definately killin it with that wheel set!

this is akin to putting a huge-r wing and some heavier 17" wheels on his evo.

it may look faster, but it's slower and stupider and he hasn't changed any of the things that really need to be addressed... like the crap tires, awful saddle, and lack of foot retention(okay so that issue is more like he took out the connector which allows you to set between ayc settings so you're always stuck on "snow" instead of gravel or tarmac.)

I like his bike, but I also wear Sambas.

I am not a fan of the gold cranks and chainring, but the rest looks ace.

haha that's one of the gayest things I've ever heard.

but in all seriousness this guy should be shamed. Running those tires on an aerospoke? unforgivable.

theyre not the best tires to say the least. getting better tires, youd actually get a performance increase, a sizable one at that, for much less than the cost of the cheapest aerospoke.

No, you don't have to throw them away. Common sense would dictate you keep them as spares.

If thats your actual reasoning then why not reserve the aerospoke until you've 'trashed' the front wheel?

this one speaks for itself.

Those tires are fantastic but don't skid with them (unless you are filthy rich). They are really racing tires vs training/commuter tires but all lot of racers around here ride them 24/7 and they seem to hold up alright.

I suppose I should just congragulate him on spending his money faster and more carelessly than most?

When somebody with more $$ than brains comes on here looking for validation they should get it everytime. And besides, if he didn't want to hear other opinions he shouldn't be here in the first place.
