He answered that a couple of pages ago. Those rims are off the Giant Bowery 84, knock off h + sons, but with a black machined braking surface.

would anybody with a white (cream?) kilo be interested in swapping forks? i have a black BD kilo sz 53, uncut but my mercier decals are covered somewhat stealthily by glossy black vinyl decals.

i might also consider orange, and maybe some of the others.

straight swap, though, no cash, each pays their own shipping etc. just lookin to shake things up a bit.

PM me.

i just noticed since installing (if you can call it that) my new front wheel that it leans a bit to the right when looking at it from the front. dude from the LBS said it might be specific to track bikes.

just wondering if any of you also have this issue and if has any effect on anything other than tire wear?

how does a front wheel lean? probably isn't completely in the drops, I'd check that

the best way i can describe it would be that when looking at the top of the tire compared to the fork, it seems to be closer to the non-drive side. im talking about a very slight lean, but im OCD about some things and tend to notice insignificant intricacies.

you may want to check that both sides are tightened equally and that the inside axle nuts are tightened as well. One might be a little loose and is spacing the wheel towards one side more, i've had this happen with the rear wheel before so make sure its all nice and snug.

i guess i couldve edited, but instead ill just state that i came across a bit dickheaded on that reply, without meaning to. i dont hate on the lego chain, just pointing out that you neglected to mention it.

brooks is outta place so is chain. I also don't like those bullhorns. honestly, this bike isn't working for me. You should go with a purple/white theme. That always looks nice. and just leave stock rims, get white tires, better looking bullhorns, white grip tape, white seat, silver components. This bike just looks horrible, IMO. The warp job on the bullhorns is also shoddy.

warped bullhorns are the worst

the saddle angle looks a bit awkward, they should be tipped up but only slightly
i would just say adjust the angle and try it out
