john.
You just zip tie it or electrical tape it to the top tube a couple of times, if you're feeling classy there are old school steel clamp thingies that do the same thing and also put holes in your shirt if you put the bike over your shoulder. It doesn't feel quite as snappy as a setup with stops since there is more cable to housing friction, but whatev, it's a rear brake. My touring bike is like this and I can still lock up the R wheel with 30lbs of crap on the back.

went back to soma 456 for the time being.

the little nubs on the fork are tireflys that i taped on. i also modified their springs so they come on easier... one side comes on over the slightest bump, the other takes more persuasion. it's kinda cool to blink on the front in bright green.

also new is the S-2 headset... i'm very happy with it but when they installed it(i wanted to use a press but no one had one) they ganked one of my spacers and now i'm stuck with this stem. it's too long, i think i'll go get a cheap dimension stem with huge negative rise tomorrow if i have time.

its actually a 110mm ZOOM from nashbar. I got it to fit the 26mm bullhorns. It's pretty ugly but it works.

Yeah, I don't go to PSU though, just ride by there on my way to work (coffee place at OHSU). Coming down that hill brakeless is pretty gnarly

this is my pant length. if i am a 30-31 in pant length, will the 57cm work for me?

finally, finally got a 26.0 stem that fits me. so much more comfortable in the drops.

that's what it looks like behind the scenes. i'm very new to this whole lighting thing.

i know it's a sucky stem, but it fits, and that's what's important.

I'm having a problem figuring out what size Mercier I should get. Currently I ride a 51cm Schwinn. The toptube of it is about 58cm (road geo), seat tube is ~54cm, standover height is a little under 78cm.

The 50cm Kilo has a seat tube of 50cm, toptube is 53.5cm, standover is 75.8. The 53 is a little bigger with a standover of 78.5cm.

I like being able to stand with the toptube not touching my boys. Do I get the 50cm due to the standover?

If you go that route, just get a longer stem.
