Aerospoke Fronts Create Surplus of Front Deep V's?

So I'm just thinking since you see a lot of people running aerospoke fronts, wouldn't that mean there are a lot of front deep v's laying around somewhere, or an equal number of aerospoke rears?

Yes, because people always buy every wheel in matched pairs, and the only replacement for a front deep v is an aerospoke.

Yes. All the ***ster roadies will be running a Deep V rim with a track hub up front and an Aerospoke rear.

They're forced to cut one shift at the Deep-V mine. A big hit for the Queensland economy. Pray for them.

kinda on topic - what's everyone's opinion of aerospokes? i like the look, and the weight doesn't bother me, but i've been warned that i'm better off with a regular wheel b/c they can be trued and parts can be replaced. how's the quality of the aerospoke compared to an IRO wheel or the mavic cxp22? or is that just apples and oranges?

mine have been fine so far. the rear wheel needed to be sent in to be cold-welded because since the hubs can be changed out it didn't work well with skidding. now it is fine though. i hear you have to pummel these in order to get out of true. i met a guy who had spins for 6yrs (still rides them) with no problems. i mention this since it is sorta the same composite material used for aerospoke
