I don't own one but would think a stiff aluminum track bike would be slightly unpleasant for commuting. That said, quite a few people out there ride them so they can't be that bad.
Im kidding, if someone is seriously considering spending that much money just to buy the Concept, does he really need our okay to buy it and to ride it on the street, I mean honestly 99% of the people that ride them have them for cool points
here it is, i thought it was a good price...
Oh yeah, that is a pretty good deal
Seems like a great deal to me... A little too good.
Id like to have one.
If you're considering this for you FIRST street fixed gear, it may be a little much. For recomendations, check that sticky thread.
If you have the $$$ for it, I'd say it looks pretty good
I have one and it is rad on the street!
fun as hell! I also have a couple of steel bike and hard to tell the difference these people are just very sensitive and need to be coddled. |
Why not, if you're considering it you're obviosly not looking for a comfy touring bike so it'll probably do you well.
Buy it and ride it into the ground |

The same bike with a different description is listed in the philly CL.

I ride a fuji pro on the street. aluminum feels fine. it feels light and stiff.

They are really great bikes. Everyone that I have heard that has one, rides it on teh street and loves it. A friend of mine totalled his though, so that stinks. but the bike is a favorite for many people.
id buy that concept in a second if it were closer. do it.
