What's this NJS Keirin bike worth to you?

Hi all,

This is my first post, usually here reading up tech stuff. I have a complete NJS Keirin Kiyo Miyazawa bike in Osaka that I'm hoping to sell, but what's it worth out in the states I have no clue. Please take some serious time and give me a value that you would put on this bike.

Thanks!
David

my beater is very similar, but silver with blue letters.
I got the frame bb and headset for ~ $400 a few years ago.

edit: I love mine, and would imagine that that frame is just as amazing.

In the U.S. it'd got for over $1,000. Those Suntour hubs are very lust-worthy. And they're laced to Araya 16-B Golds? If so, make that $1,200.

What condition was it in for $400? Sounds like you got a deal if it was clean, can't get them in Japan frame only for that cheap even now. It would be sweet to have one as a beater, but these bikes are so rare and nice.

Thanks for the heads up sprinter!

Those are Araya Gold up front and Red in the back. Hubs are Suzue Pro Max in the front and Sansin in the back, I probably should have stated that earlier haha

Pedals are rare Pro-ace, gears are Zukin 75 46T and 15T rear. Cranks are Dura Ace

Dude! A seller who moves lots of keirin stuff named "Cerberus0427" has stolen your bike and put it up on Yahoo Auctions! What a dastardly guy--especially when you were planning to sell it too
He's got it at 61,000 yen with only four hours left! Maybe if you email him he'll let you have a cut or something. It is your bike after all, right?

Hmmm... Kiyo's are nice frames. I'd give a little over $1000 for it.

Haters be damned, no one currently makes better lugged steel track bikes than the NJS frame builders. Handmade steel FTW

it had a few little nicks here and there, not too bad though.

I'd buy another one in a second, but for anything over $1200 I'd rather have a builder here in the states make me a custom.

I guess I'm a little late to the party, but in response to the title of this thread, if it isn't 54-56cm this bike isn't worth very much to 'me'.
