Track angles

I've read numerous times that the Fuji and Bianchi track bikes don't really have the same angles that track bikes use. What are traditional track angles?

My 57cm Bianchi seems to have pretty steep angles:
Seat Tube: 75.5
Head Tube: 74.5
Top Tube: 560mm
Chainstays: 383mm
Wheelbase: 967mm

The Bianchi Pista has "real" track geometry. You are right. I have had track frames designed to be ridden for pursuit or large tracks(>330m) with very laid back geometry compared to the Bianchi. The Bianchi is a very "std." track design. With a 28mm fork rake(1 1/8") you bet it is designed for the track. It just so happens to have a frt brake hole drilling so people assume it can't be a "serious" track bike. By the way, I have the exact same bike, exact same size as yours and every angle is on spec. Does your pista have a decal on the back of the seattube that say's "chick designed"?

thanks for the info.

Yes, my frame has the Chick designed sticker on it. I swapped out the fork with a Soma Rush fork because I liked the crown and it tightened up the spacing between the tire and the down tube. No real reason besides asthetics, it didn't seem to change the ride much.

actually, the 2003 pista's have 1" head tubes. the pista concepts have 1 1/8". i love my pista. i went from riding a converted road bike to riding the pista, and there was definately a huge difference in the angles. i don't get people who say that it has 'almost road bike' angles.

I only bought the fork. I didn't want a soma because it had water bottle braze ons and a rear brake hole. The fork is great.

I didn't know the fork could be purchased separately. Good to know...
