clear enough?

you should twist the straps through the cage as well, this will help keep them from slipping

You can also use the button further down the strap to keep it from getting too loose.

Check out the FGG...they did an article about 13 pedals/clips/straps awhile ago:

The twist is important. As Seaneee said.

+ a billions its also important to use a little file or emery cloth to remove the flash fromt the pedal body flash is left over slag from the molding process and can be sharp causing straps to fail
mks is pretty bad about it especially their cheaper pedals

thanks alot homies. Now it's all crystal clear, I had it all ****ed up before

masterjack 07-26-07 11:28 AM

one more favor, if you're up to it. Could somebody show me a picture of a double-strapped pedal?

Igneous Faction 07-26-07 11:44 AM

You mean two single-straps on one pedal? It's the same thing, but with one more strap out front.

not always...sprinter style:http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/revi.../e/05x1000.jpg

i tried twisting my toshi singles under my gr-9s - no way it's going to happen. unless i am missing something, the toshi straps are way to stiff to twist with such a narrow pedal. sucks, because they are super long running them straight. there is like 4+ inches of extra strap past the clip.

twisting is nice, i found it helpful

Get 'em wet. It may seem impossible, but it can be done. Had the same problem a while back with straps and TA track pedals. Never thought it would work. Just have to play with it a bit.
