Isn't it a bit naive to think that girls into such an esoteric community as fixed gear don't also frequent internet cycling forums (or who have friends that do) and are going to see all this undignified slobbering and slagging off? Yes I know it's teh internetz, and so what if they do, and I should get over myself etc - but these are real cyclists you're discussing here. |
and i bet they are all cool people and strong riders, huh? maybe used to mess in the 90's?

sorry i didn't realize you could look into people's souls... i wonder how many of these girls thought bikes were dorky in high school and wouldn't be caught dead on one
"yeah, who cares what the boys like! i'll just shop for and accessorize my socially accepted and trendy new purchase. i'm an individual! " |

Any cyclist though has a shtick for upgrades--even if they are in the guise of durability "these phils and this thomson stem will be **bombproof**" They were, and most of use used mountain bikes with slicks. We all saved our track bikes for the velodrome. |
Gonna be working the streets next month... there was no question that my new work bike would be a mountain bike with slicks.
I de-hipped it this am. :D http://www.ravingbikefiend.com/bikep...mberfive11.JPG |

According to a popular legend the two-fingers salute and/or V sign derives from the gestures of longbowmen fighting in the English army at the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the Hundred Years' War.[4][12] The story claims that the French claimed that they would cut off the arrow-shooting fingers of all the English longbowmen after they had won the battle at Agincourt. But the English came out victorious and showed off their two fingers, still intact. Historian Juliet Barker quotes Jean Le Fevre (who fought on the English side at Agincourt) as saying that Henry V included a reference to the French cutting off longbowmen's fingers in his pre-battle speech. |

This reminds me, I need to clean my chain...???
|
Ouch,
I would never get my chain so close to my soft skinned area like nipples. I think she had a hell of a day of cleaning ... and skinscare afterwards. Not to mention her curly hair! ... But I would not mind seeing any member of the female clan working on bikes (or any machines) covered in grease or machine oil and sweaty mechanic outfit. I kinda like that over riding girls. T |

Tell her I want to put my pig in her blanket while she says in that British accent "You've been such a naughty boy." Minus points if she's from Liverpool. |
