Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Holy **** owwwww

This should be common sense. Why I thought it would be a good idea, I don't know. I was excited about the idea of riding without my big mess bag (36 mile ride) and getting some breeze on my back for the first time in quite awhile, and decided, "Hey, why not get a tan at the same time, I'll be going north one way and south on the way back so I'll tan evenly." I live in a desert for chissakes. Well, I won't have to worry about riding with the mess bag for a few more days now. Don't know how to carry my lock with me though.

Sun exposure is overrated. Use a minimum of 30 S.P.F. and never ride without a jersey. There are even times I wear a long-sleeved compression shirt to reduce my amount of overall sun exposure.

I totally dig the classic studded heavy-metal belt. Very slick in a K.K. Downing way.

Damn man... I've got a decent tan and I still put sunscreen on my arms for the 30 minutes commute home. 36 miles with no shirt in the 'burque - that's crazy.

damn Im sorry.. its just healed raw pink skin at this point.. I actually had to go to the school clinic here on the island and the nurse took this huge like 8 gauge syringe and poked 3 or 4 holes/rips in it.. it leaked sort of a piss color liquid for a week then it was just raw and open.. then i peeled off the skin and it felt SO GOOD.. no im kidding.. it hurt like raw nerves.. but I guess I could just get myself sunburned again.. anything for the grindcore

yeah...ummm, it really helps if you grab your bars with the "underside" of your hand...how the heck did you get blisters like that??

Kinda reminds me of the time my wife went away to visit family and I popped a viagra instead of a vitamin.

( - yes, I'm only kidding...I'm not that old)
