Here is mine, I don't think it looks that bad. I have bull horns and a slight rise to my stem.... Is it really that bad?

that's a tough one. i mean, if that's the hand position you're goin' for, i can't really think of a more elegant solution.
although, i tried out mavic pursuit bars with a drop stem and that looked weird too. bullhorns tend to look good when they're level and on a short stem. otherwise they're just waaaayyy too phallic looking.

It doesn't look bad. It looks like you and your saddle are launching off of a elevated runway. Totally tits.

the first pic is obviously bad because the horns are at the same angle of the stem. make the bars even with the top tube and it would be good. not that i care anyway, but it seems that this basic observation as gone overlooked.

I have the same issue on my current bike. I've got like a 4 degree rise stem which is almost perfectly level if I flip it, but the steerer tube isn't long enough even to get the bars at height i need them to be that way, and if it was I'd have a stupid amount of spacers on there. like 4 inches of them.

I have a riser stem on my bullhorns because it was all I had at the time. It's comfortable though, so I don't really care if it doesn't look as bad-ass as it could be.
