This sucks, his posts were amazing and always hilarious, the kind that make you want to meet the person in real life.

I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now.

This is happening way too much. We've had at least two people in our little bike club get hit this summer. One guy got hit for the second time within a year at exactly the same spot. People need to slow down and realize they are dealing with people's lives when they get behind the wheel. They need to quit being so selfish, drinking and driving and most importantly, hang up the focking phone and pay attention to what they are doing.

I know.... Preaching to the choir, etc.

RIP, Charles.

Oh no. No. Damn.

Seriously, look back at some of his posts. He was articulate and funny. His intelligence was obvious.

Rest in peace Shiz. Please watch over us.

This really sucks. Shiz was such a funny guy. I'll agree that he was one of my favorite BF's posters. I realize that sounds kind of silly/frivolous when there are people on here that knew him in real life, but he'll definitely be missed around here.

RIP

Oh ****.

I just met him on the first Vancouver leg of his trip. Such a positive guy. This seems so surreal. I last got an email from him at the end of July, and wasn't able to meet up with him that time around.

I'm so sad to know that he never made it home from his trip =[

That's terrible news. I've always enjoyed his posts here and he seemed like a genuinely nice person. Judging by the responses so far, he will be missed by many people who only knew him online; I can only imagine what it must be like for his closest friends and family. It sucks to be reminded that, even if we do everything right, we can still be struck down because of some selfish *******.

This is a real goddamn shame. I always enjoyed his posts and if we'll miss him around here, imagine how much he'll be missed by those who actually knew him.

And **** that drunk driver. Seriously, I want to send an email to his big hairy cell mate, except that he probably won't actually have to do any time.

I just posted this on his blog too after looking at his pictures. His pictures look like he was having a great time and even though in a perfect world he wouldn't of passed at all, at least he passed away doing something he loved.

Sadly, a lot more.
Although drunk driving laws have gotten tougher over the years theyre still too soft. The only way is a no tolerance, lose your license forever, do time, law.
