Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Disregard the thread. It appears i have offended people by posting a used bike i found that was blinged out with primo Campagnolo components and a handmade frame and dropouts.

I thought maybe a Vancouver BF member would be happey to find such a bike for a SS or Fixie conversion, so i thought i would post the link.

I will now whip myself with rusty razor wire to attone for accidently posting a great find here on the SS/fixed forum.

good day.

I never understood why people get so bitter over a private forum's moderators.

Don't be a ***** about it, just adhere to the rules and you won't have to whip yourself. Now get on with it.

I just love how some people can post a bike here that they find on craigslist or ebay, and ask about its value or drool over it, or get epinions about the frame or parts, yet others get ****** ** *** *****over it. All i was trying to do was A) find out more about it, B: post it so perhaps a vancouver rider could go look at it if they wanted.

I'm NOT the seller, I DONT know the seller, my friends are NOT the seller, it was simple godamn link to a handmade piece of bike history. What part of "I'm NOT the seller, I DONT know the seller, my friends are NOT the seller" are people not getting. How the hell can i post a link or a picture to a bike so it does'nt "violate" the guidlelines. Is there some forum hddeninhere i'm supposed topost it in? WTF?

Relax man,it's not that big of a deal. Fixedvancouver.com is a local board where this kind of thing is more appropriate and lots more welcome.
