I have them and I'm a fan. They beat flip-and-clip road bars in my opinion. However, the shoulders (where the bar slopes down from the flat portion on top near the stem) is the least comfortable position without gloves and I only use it for cornering or resting my hands for a few moments. With gloves it's not much of a problem though. Just FYI. These and the Nitto drops are all you need for a bar collection, although I gotta say, for windy conditions there's nothing I like better than the old B-123/AA, nothing slices through headwinds better than riding those in the drops (nothing sprints better as well for that matter, just don't run them nekkid!).

whats the issue with the tt levers? you have to run the cables under the wrap or through the bar? I am not excited about the idea of having to drill my brand new bars.

you dont have to do that.. you could just have the awesome free brake cable that sorta arcs down to the brake.. I think it looks cool.. like the brake cables in "american flyers"

I love mine so far. I drilled them and haven't noticed any problems so far. They seem pretty damn tough so I'm not worried about it

Teamskene - Can you take different shots? I don't get the whole drilling handlebars thing. What is it for? You run your brake cables internally? Is there an exit hole by the stem I don't see?

With the cane creek TT levers you do not HAVE to drill as the cable can be routed along the bottom of the bar. I choose to drill a hole just proximal to where the lever sits and run it to another hole I drilled just before the first bend of the drop portion (near the stem). You can see where the cable enters the bar on underneath the grip in the second picture

i had the same cane creeks with champ grips and just routed the cable under the grip, so either way it works. the internal routing does look a bit cleaner, though.

These aren't Nitto bars but all you gotta do is route the cable housing under the bar tape:

I used electrical tape on afew spots first to hold the cable housing in place on the bottom of the bar the, wrapped the bartape over that. And if you get creative you can even put a cross lever if you so desire.
