IRO messed up my order

I ordered a build kit from them.
i got the cranks, bar, chain cog and stem
but they forgot to include the seat post, bottom bracket, and lock ring.
I was really excited when I got the package today then i realized things were missing. aw.
does this happen often?

I emailed them
do you think they'll believe me :[

i'm probably going to get upset if they make me pay shipping and handling for the missing parts.

i haven't dealt with IRO's customer service in over a year but i recommend calling them. If its anything like it was when i called them, Tony was real nice about the problem. The company seems to have grown a lot since then, though.

I've heard only good things about their customer service, I'm sure if you take the advice above it'll work out. Thats a bummer though

I've delt with IRO a couple of times and I've always got the impression that Tony works hard to do the right thing. I would give him more business in a heart beat if I needed anything.

It shouldn't be a problem. They sent me the wrong fork, I called themup and they sent me the correct one within a week, with return shipping already payed for. A+ for IRO, just call them up.

I had a clearance problem with my Phoenix that ended up being with my tires, but Tony went and took pictures of a bunch of different tire brands on his Phoenix to clear up the issue.

It just took a little while, they seem to be a small company with a big workload.

Anyways, big thumbs up on their customer service. And things get forgotten all the time. One time I bought fenders from an LBS and there was no hardware, all I had to do was go back and tell them. The cyclist world doesn't seem to (usually) bring out the same type of people who are out to scam folks. So most cycling-related shops probably aren't too worried about it. Someone who spends hundreds to thousands of dollars on a transportation method that helps the environment and requires lots of hard work probably isn't the same type of person looking to get something for nothing.

Yeah I just ordered a build kit from them a week ago and they forgot the seat post as well.
I keep forgetting to call them though.

It doesn't bother me too much because the seat post was the one thing I didn't actually need from them, but it was still cheaper to buy the kit.

I would still like to have the post though, seeing as I did pay for it.
