Fuji OBEY

Hello FG riders.

Anyone heard anything about the Fuji OBEY?

Classic lugged frame
Miche Crankset
Price: ~$800 Retail.
Flipflop hub.
Mavic something-er-other rims.

Sounds like a nice bike.. somewhere between a Fuji Track and Fuju Track Pro.

If anyone has any information about it. Please let the world know.
Pics would be nice.

Thanks

It is a bit average, but will definitely sell out quickly.
I dont think it is as bad as some of you say, but I would not want one!
Maybe suggest what you would change instead.

For me? mismatched gold crank/black chainring looks crap. Needs a gold chainring, and not a fat ugly one like the sugino zen messenger rings.

Apart from that it looks fine. Nitto 123 bars in gold, Nitto pearl/techno stem? and what looks like a brooks seat? Better than half the bikes I see online.

i hadn't commented yet because all i could think of was 'gross.'

but i'll add disgusting to that too.

especially because obey is such BS as a brand that it needs to be ***** slapped.

i didn't think black and gold could look bad, but somehow they managed it.

awesome. freakin' awesome. i love that Fairey's 'study in phenomenology' has progressed to the natural course that any study of societal response leads to: selling pants at Nordstrom for over $100. my girlfriend shops there every week, so i got dragged to the mall, only to find this fine example of angst, distrust, and underground art for sale in the men's dept.
why shouldn't they charge $1200 for a bike worth less than $600? it has cool paint, and it's edgy. come on, you crows, latch on and buy it. caw, caw.
Shepherd Fairey used to be a cool dude that skated everywhere in SoCal, but eventually began to believe his own hype, and caught wind that he could make millions off of rich kids wanting to be un-trendy. which explains Nordstrom and the Fuji Obey.
Never Forget- 'The Medium is the Message'- CAW!!!!
