I've been looking for a wheelset that doesn't flex as much as my current shi!te Alex R500 set up. Any weight savings, smoother rolling, and better braking performance are also considered big pluses. More than anything it's the brake rub in sprints and climbs really getting on my nerves.

So I've got a lead on a set of Open Pros custom ordered - here's what $250 will buy me, shipped

Mavic Open Pro rim - standard black machined
Formula hubs - fixed/free rear
DT Swiss double butted spokes
Brass nipples

A fair price? So hard to find examples of these currently on ebay and elsewhere on the webs.
