I can't wait for the fbm frame, especially because of the headbadge

The Volume one isn't too bad... the decals are kind of ugly and it seems pretty overpriced. I think a lot of the low priced stock bikes come with just ****ty platforms.. I know my Pista did. I think they just expect buyers to switch them out to their favorite pedals.
That is a really sexy headbadge though.

most of them don't really come ready to ride out of the box it seems... which is sad because every once in awhile i see this guy riding a motobecane with platform pedals, no cages, and no brakes.... he looks ridiculous not to mention dangerous as hell.

It doesn't surprise me that a bmx company wouldn't realize the need for such things.

I think eventually for street riding people will do away with straps and find other ways. For instance, when doing bar spins on a BMX, you used to have to grab the seat with your knees, now most guys just grab the cranks with their feet to hold the bike. Crazy, no doubt but progression for sure. If you can do it, do it.

a volume rep on a bmx forum stated that those pictures are of the first sample they received, and that all production models will have clips and straps.

Possible they changed the spec after the photo shoot. Might have gotten some flack over the lack of clips.

Looks pretty standard. Kind of like a steel Bowery (right down to the wheels and integrated headset).

I just saw the conversion again on Broughton. Def no clips/straps, no brakes, fixed. Silver motobecane conversion. Old frame.
Ive seen a new blue Motobecane around but didnt notice if it had clips/straps.
