Paul Component Engineering E - LEVER?

Has anyone tried the Paul Component e-lever? Opinions? Any other unusual, nice brake levers to recommend? What about brakes? Just wondering about options for the front brake on my new bike...

There are lots of threads about this lever. Mostly what's said is that it's good, but too expensive for what it is.

Yea, that is pretty expensive for what it is...

I used to run a DiaTech Gold Finger lever on my BMX. It's really similar, and about 1/3 the price of the E-Lever. ($20 at danscomp.com) and it comes in Black, silver, red, or gold...

Problem is, the Goldfinger comes in two versions, neither of which fits 23.8 mm diameter standard road or track handlebars. The BMX one fits 22.2 so it simply doesn't fit, no way, no how. The other one comes with a shim to fit down to BMX but you have to rig up a shim for road bars and frankly, it isn't the nicest way to make it work. Yes, it's a nice lever and a great deal for the money. Unfortunately, it's not made for road or track bars.

didn't even think about that....
