road cranks with single disc?
Can I use this type of crank with a single disc? I assume I would need shorter bolts, but other than that is there anything to be concerned about?

Sure. Just make sure you get their correct chainring bolts. You will need single ring bolts meant for BMX or track bikes. They run $7 for a set of 5.
Nice set of cranks, should have never sold the ones I had:( |
Looks good!

Aluminum is incredibly soft, a good file and less than a minute on each tab will take of the tabs. Afterwards, I sanded the tab smoothe and polished em out.
To get that finished I used a couple different scrubbing pads. Then some rubbing compound, followed by Mother's polishing compound. I need to polish em again, starting to get alittle dull. |
