Nice bike!

it's VERY comfy for city riding.. i work about 3 miles from home, and i try to ride any day that it's nice outside and i dont have too much stuff to lug with me. i've tried several bar/stem setups on different bikes, and i keep going back to this.
it fits me, the way i ride, and the proportions of my body.

the frame is not too big for me.
it barely touches my crotch when i stand over the bike, and the reach is comfortable.

since taking pics, i've made a couple of adjustments to make it fit me a bit better, such as raising the seat, and changing the angle of the bars. i find it very easy to maneuver when riding, slowing/stoping when i want, cornering, etc.. it's pretty easy to throw around as compared to my last two bikes.

thanks for the words.. i dig the seat. i guess i could get the same thing everyone else has, and gather a couple more scene points, but for now i'll keep it on there until my taint gets sick of it.

kinda a bit of a blanket statement, unless you've peeled them off of every set of velocity rims, in every climate condition. mostof them that i've peeled off in the past have come off really easily, with no trace left behind, but these are gross for some reason.

these are leaving a nasty, gummy residue that is unresponsive to a damp cloth. i have some 3M adhesive remover that gets it off really well. just gotta go hit the garage and find it. my bottle at home evaporated.

i'm sure it's comfy as hell to ride and very cool, but it needs chopped bars and a different saddle to look good. such a sweet frame, drivetrain, and wheelset, and completely ruined by the aesthetic of the seat and bars.

I dig it. Though I agree with the other folks on here that the saddle is iffy...looks comfy though.

Okay. How many Velocity stickers do you peel off? A lot it sounds like. I don't know what kind of extreme climate you have up there in Baltimore in September, but I thought residue was related to how the sticker backing was made. I'm glad I learned something today.

i dunno.. probably 4 or 5 sets of wheels worth.
in the summer, they get gummy.

im not gonna argue with you on the internet about the adhesive properties of a given label.

i suppose i could take pics of whats left behind when i peel these off, but why?

get over it.

I don't want to argue about adhesive propert's blah, blah either. I wanted to know what you were doing with all these Velocity's when kids in poor communities don't even get one Deep V. I would like those pics though. It would be funny and I think you are a liar. JK, All in fun.

Other than your saddle being too low (or frame being too large?), I love it. The frame is gorgeous and the wheels look great. Only thing I would personally change would be the risers to bullhorns with a front brake.

Speaking of rim decals, Goo Gone wasn't able to take the leftover adhesive off for some reason. Can't explain why, but you can still see the adhesive a little bit, 6 months later.

Considering it's a track frame, and your seat/bars are level.
