Removing CAPO decals

Because cannondale decided to put massive writing on the down tube and its just not cool..

How do I do this? JASCO? but it doesn't feel like theres decals or clear coat, looks like its just all spray painted on.

Anybody got any suggestions or experiences they'd like to share?

NOOOOOOOO Jasco! unless you wanna take the rest of the paint with it.

They may be painted on but most likely the seams are smoothed out from the clear coat. Sometimes and I mean sometimes, frames or parts are clearcoated, then the decals are placed on and then clearcoated again. You could get some 600 or 1200 grit sandpaper and a huge box of patience and try to get the clearcoat off around the decals. Be sure the blend the edges of where you removed the CC.

Last and probably best option is to drop the $100 and get it powdercoated.

Electrical tape, repaint, or learn to deal with it.

Which version of the Capo is this? Silver? Black? The new '08 red one?

At least with the old black one I don't think you'd be able to remove them.. they are made of paint. Don't fret though, they're so dark you won't notice them much. Just ride it.
