Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Hey, I didn't ask you to hate back. Jeez. I thought I was just doing what your thread asked me to do, "Start hatin.. in 3..2..1..." So I did. Man, be a little more careful for what you ask for. That is the last time I ever do something for you out of the kindness of my heart.

Sorry, but that frame looks like something Richard Simmons would ride. Bust out your mad running shorts and muscle shirt combo and grow a Richard fro if you ride it.

^^^ now that is some high-quality hate.

I love the attention to details on both bikes. The chain on the second bike really stands out.

You also haven't threatened any of us yet, which makes this a much better thread than the one by Geronimo or Chief Running Mouth or whoever he is.

umm.. all i purchased on ebay was the dutch frame.

and just about everything on that bike aside from the wheelset was second (or third) hand, and just polished up to look all fancy.

most of the other stuff was purchased at my LBS.

I was still at the office at the time (no, I am not old, just sold out at an early age) so I had time to take a break and hate.

Surgery? Did you get your hip replaced pops?
