single-speed KHS a good buy?

Hey everyone, I'm meeting up with the guy tomorrow and was just wondering if this would be a good buy with the intentions of converting to fixed. I looked some of the components up through a quick google search and they seemed decent, I'm just not entirely sure what to be looking for and comparing to.

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/448197831.html

from the post ( []'s are mine ):
"56 cm KHS Triathlete frame (Reynolds 531 steel, I think)
Shimano 105 crank, converted to a single speed 44 tooth chainring (3 weeks old now)
Shimano 105 dual pivot brake calipers
Campagnolo rims on 105 hubs (cassette hub with a 19 tooth cog and cassette spacers)
Hutchinson Carbon Comp 23c tires [presumably 700 x 23c]
Body Geometry saddle"

If it's indeed a 531 then it's made from manganese-molybdenum.

Thanks!

the component list is pretty decent, i'd try offering less than 175$ though; just to see if you can get it for even cheaper

Thanks ballin, I got the bike after I got him down to $150. It should be a decent bike as everything's pretty tight and it's got a very smooth ride and surprisingly light. I'll be in the forums and on sheldon's site to get the skinny on converting to fixed. There are also a couple fixed/ss only bike shops in my area so I'll definitely be paying them a visit. Cheers!

if you're converting to fixed, just swap the wheelset to something with a fixed rear hub, and sell off the geared parts.
