How big is the Chrome Kremlin?
Hello I have a large timbuk2 that I hate, I need a bigger and better bag.
I found a nice deal on the Chrome Kremlin, I just need to know how big is it? Maybe too big to be uncomfortable to ride with?
In case someone is interested I'm 6' 3"
Photos of the loaded bag are really appreciated
Thanks

(I'm just under 6'2", but fairly slim) I've only tried on the Kremlin (I ended up going with a Bailey SuperPro L). It seemed nicely made and felt nice when I tried it on, if a bit bulky. Ultimately, I was leaning toward the Metropolis for day in day out use. I liked the Kremlin too, but it was a lot of material. Depends on what kind of loads you want to use it for though...

I am 6'2" and the Kremlin fits me fine. I also use an extra compression strap around it when it is empty because I like to cinch it down some more. In hotter weather it sucks because it does take up my entire back which equals excessive sweating. I usually opt for one of my smaller bags on those days unless I know I will need the extra space. It has more room in it than I have ever needed, but that was the reason I got this bag. Sometimes it is nice to have a super large bag. The amount of room in it is sick. When I first got it, my GF climbed in it and I was able to close the top flap. She is 5'1" though. I got a pic of it somewhere and will post if I can find it.

Any of the XL bags are ridiculously huge, but the Chrome is well made and comfortable, though it takes some work to make it comfortable when fully loaded. Also, Chromes are a little shapeless compared to other bags and the liner is really dense, so they are often harder to load because the sides stick together.
Still, if you need the space, it's a solid bag. Do it.

The Kremlin (which my friend owns) is huge. The metropolis (which I own) is pretty big, but doesn't look like I'm being eaten by it.
Obviously, if you need to haul that much stuff, get a Kremlin, but I think the metropolis is plenty big most of the time.
In an ideal world, we could all have one bag of every size, up to super huge, but if you have just one, it's best to find a happy medium (er, happy large).

I had the Kremlin and though it was huge...but then I got a PAC Ultimate OS and the Kremlin fails in comparison.
I was able to carry a 24pk of water bottles in it once. Another time I fit two new pillows in it (you know how fluffy they can be). For the price you can't beat it. I'd say go for it. Its a solid bag that has no complaints from me.
It's a great bag but I wanted more pocket space and comfort. (2.5 water gallon bottle)

Side by side view

Forget loaded bags with kids, how about adults (She's 21 and is 5' 11"

I did a lil review of my PAC for those who may be thinking about buying a HUGE bag

I stand 6'2" with a long torso.
I have a Metropolis and a Kremlin.
I almost always use the Metropolis.
However, the other day I cleaned out my locker at work, and the Kremlin swallowed all of it and it felt comfortable on my back.
The Metropolis seems best all around for me.
I inherited it from my son, who prefers two straps.
I'd like to experiment with two straps, but not enough to spend money.
