no handed wheelie pull up

I've seen people pull the front wheel up for a wheelie without using their hands -- how do you do this?

i can do it from a trackstand. put your good foot at 12 o'clock lean back and crank down.
i guess just apply that method while riding and you can do a wheelie.

doesn't matter the ratio....'s the same thing as wheelies...if you're trying to do it by pushing down, you're doing it wrong...gotta shift your weight back...that's all it is

if i even attempted this i can assure you i'd be on my ass with my bike on top of me because my clipless pedals stayed clipped because it wouldn't be a hard fall haha.

i found out, just focusing on pushing down was quite hard. if you focus more on pulling up with your back pedal it helps heaps with the torque. lean back + technique!

Well, I suck at wheelies so I don't even try but I can hop the front wheel a bit just by leaning back suddenly... even on a fw while coasting. Add a push on the pedals and very short wheelbase, and it shd not be too difficult to wheelie.

yep. probably because when pushing down, you're shifting your weight forward. Leaning way back is the trick.

I can pop the wheel up, but can't keep it there at a standstill.
(Can't hold a moving wheelie either, tho)
