Wait for the reflective ones. Cars are turning towards you and all you have to do is smile for them to see you at night. EPICNESS!!!

sorry ethan, but michelin actually made a mouthguard with a reflective stripe back in the 90's. didn't go over too well, but when i was a courier i had michelin 'cross tires for a bit with reflective sidewalls. i never wore a mouth guard back then, but i knew where you could get the glow in the dark ones.

colored moufguards on the other hand showcase the unique style and individuality of each rider, while protecting their teef from potential damages of the urban setting.

Also, riding with a mouthgaurd not only prevents proper breathing but also reduces your ability to yell at the top of your lungs...which can save your life in traffic. I know its saved my ass from getting hit by cars on multiple occasions by drivers that werent paying attention.
Lemme guess..you wear a mouthgaurd?

Colored is just the beginning of it. When I was a kid playing hockey you'd see some ridiculous mouthguards - custom stuff you had to go to your dentist for and make a mold of your teeth for. I think my favorites were the red/white/blue ones or the color swirl ones.

I wear a mouthguard every time I ride now, something I started doing earlier in the year when I realised having never had concussion I don't really want to find out what it feels like. I wear my full face helmet more than I used to as well (and still wear the mouthguard). It took me a little time to get used to wearing a mouthguard all the time but I can't say it causes me any problems other than walking into a petrol station or shop to buy a drink and trying to talk, forgetting I'm wearing it...

I said this before... messengers. as in dirty dudes on mountainbikes who are in their late 30's. Not the kiddies in your city who ride their $900 track frame around to coffee shops and such.

i make my girl wear mouthgaurds.... the two guys above probably just wear them for style. The people I'm talking about are those crusty messengers who don't give a f uccccck, yet wear mouthgaurds. or guords.
