Single Speed - no Brakes - no Tires - Dangerous?

So lately I've been riding my bike around single speed with no brakes, no tires, and just tonight i pulled off the bars and held onto the stem and bombed down this big ass hill, I then gave the neighbor lady the finger and yelled obscenities at her 10yr old daughter

Now my question is, is this safe? I mean what happens if i can't get a good line through rush hour night time down hill traffic? What should i do if my neighbors large recently paroled boyfriend comes over to "chat" with me tonight??

Seems safe. If you can't get a good line through rush hour traffic you'll likely be punished for your failures as a human being. This is normal. As for the "chat" this evening, be sure the lonely fella extends common courtesy. Doesn't matter with what hand.

When will the lameness stop? Likely when idiots like myself stop participating in it.

No, it's not safe especially with no rubber on the rim. You have no traction.

The lack of handlebars will definitely help lighten your bike, but how do you turn?

I removed the fork and seat stays from my bike to lighten it.

steering a bike with no bars is simple... just get a good grip on the steer tube. i take my bars / stem off all the time to lose a few pounds from my rig.

for some real weight savings, clip off atleast half your spokes, and make sure you re-lace the rear wheel to radial for added strength.

I think If you shave your legs and wear some spandex you may be able to improve your bike'e aero.

So few threads actually make me laugh out loud. This one did.

Just one thought, did you leave the tubes on when you took your tires off? They should be all the traction you need.
