Can my LBS order a Pista?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? FYI, the official bianchi dealer search on their website is COMPLETELY worthless. I searched for my zip code, got about 10 bike shops, called all that were within about 60 miles (5 dealers) and none of them even carried bianchi bikes, nor could they order them. Whats interesting is that most sites I see that have the pista listed, have a disclaimer saying they can only sell them in person, and cannot ship. Jensonusa.com has them, but theyre never in stock, and it takes longer than the second coming of christ to get them in, then shipped. Unless your willing to drive to a dealer who actually carries them, Id say buy a different bike.

Wrong, it does come with a flip flop hub in the US. It does not come with a freewheel or brakes though.
