Nice looking rig, but the brake levers are way, way too high, and the bars are tipped up a bit. Try for something a bit more like this (ignore the note about the ramp angle):

Yeah I moved the handlebars (which moved the brake hoods) after I took the picture,:D Thanks for the cool angle info

The good thing about conversion kits (the ones that convert freehubs to singlespeed) is that chainline can be easily adjusted without the need to redish. Also, freehubs generally last several times more than freewheels. All but one of my singlespeeds use such conversions.

Uh I didn't use the kit because the bike (1984) had a freewheel not a freehub. Put a BMX freewheel on there. Or were you saying why a freehub would have been better? This was intended to be a very low budget project (LOL)
