sugino 42T chainring

I've got an older Sugino 42T aluminum chainring (130 BCD) from a road bike (3/32") to use on my Sugino RD cranks. It simply says 'Sugion 42 Japan' on it. Is this strong enough and appropriate for a fixie? The ring is in excellent condition.

Thanks

Is there really any bolt-on chainring that would not be strong enough?
