You can get those frames for about 250 bucks. Whats the difference
between doing that to one of those over a Langster or any other cheapo frame?
250? I think on the leader site it was 1k USD.

As a frameset it's about the same price as a Pista Concept. I really don't understand how there are so many people on this forum who've never even rode the 735 yet assume it's a piece of garbage. Leader is a small US company producing frames with their own jigs over in Taiwan. These aren't some OEM branded frames like IRO or Bikesdirect, these bikes are designed here.

I have nothing to say about Minor Threat, sorry.

I ride one of there time trial frames set up fixed as my everyday bike and I really like it, I mean it's not vintage NJS steel but it's a bike that can take a beating and keep on getting ridden. I know of two other people that ride the 735 and actually really like them alot. The welds may be a little grotesque but it's a solid bike that no one here is giving a chance, but I guess when it comes to this forum benefit of the doubt is never given.

I love it. It's not a harsh ride, I would describe it as very stiff, solid feeling under my torque and weight but still smooth riding over bumps. I think I definitely made the right choice with this frame.

Just a note: the road fork combined with the track headtube makes the bike very twitchy. I got used to it quickly though, I think I like it twitchy. It just feels more nimble even though the turn radius is actually smaller.

I'll be posting a full review at a later date.

edit - I should also mention that I bought a Campagnolo Veloce brake set but I ran into some problems. 1) The reach, even with these new calipers, is a bit tight. The pads are all the way at the top of the slot and just make it to the brake surface of the rim. 2) I had to buy a longer nut to get the front brake on this fork. 3) The frame is drilled for a rear brake but doesn't work with this recessed nut? Weird.
