What are you using there on the saddle, tethering it to the stays? 'Extra security' right? I have been using a short length of chain (bike chain), what are you using?

bostontrevor 04-01-05 05:47 PM

short length of chain inside a short length of inner tube.

Surferbruce,

That bike just pops off the screen with those tires. But, the first thing that caught the eye was the red King hs. Looks great.

damn, that's some crazy drop (aka "inverted rise"). is that an adjustable stem?

Shiznaz 04-01-05 10:50 PM

Karmical, do you often give yourself black eyes with your knees?

ink1373 04-01-05 10:51 PM

shiznaz, i demand BMX pics!

jim-bob 04-01-05 11:25 PM

I'm guessing karmical is either Dhalsim from Street Fighter, an orangutan, or twisted like a pretzel.

yep +120 to -65 degrees....but then it goes way down below -65...thats where i have it set now...i must be crazy...cause i like the way it feels...makes me ride harder...or maybe i'm just trying to get home faster

I started a thread about cops on bicycles in the advocacy/safety forum,
and when I was looking for images of cop bikes, I came across this:

This photo was taken between 1896 and 1920 - pretty sweet FG...

With that chainwheel he's obviously well prepared to give chase. Yowza.

BostonFixed 04-02-05 09:39 AM

Bruce- Nice pista, but cut that steerer tube before you impale your balls!

Dude...what gear ratio is that? That can't be good for skidding.

kurremkarm 04-02-05 03:14 PM

The bike the cop is on looks like it would be good today, friggin chainring is too big for us mere mortals but looks good.
