That is ill. Have you had any problems with the paint chipping from the rattle-can job?

$213.

My beater for riding and locking up once the semester starts. I actually really love riding this thing. Its so smooth and solid. Pretty much indestructible.

How'd you do that for $213?

If that's possible, I might get another bike.

The saddle is what i've gotten used to riding and am most comfortable on. Pedals, clips and straps are interchangeable between bikes and it too is what i am most comfortable/ secure on. The front wheel is borrowed from another bike, but is my only quick release/ locking skewer type compatible wheel. I only carry 1 mini-u to lock up. Rear wheel through triangle.

Thanks for the comments guys.

edit: I was able to find some really good deals from local people and friends. But, some of the parts i already had from a previous bike.

Here's my mid fifties Norman Invader. I've got to change the brake levers to period correct ones and find a new BB spindle, but it rides nice. The tyres are some sketchy chinese ones but the only ones I could find in 26x 1 1/4.

Has anyone tried putting a rim-brake on a non-machined wheel? I realize it would take the powdercoat off a Deep-V, and might get dicey in wet weather, but there were old bikes with VERY textured braking surfaces, is it really so awful?

I'm still looking for info on my "Maccici" Titanium Mystery frame. I think there are some experts around here, not just Jr. High hairdo-commentators.

FertiliTi Project Spoilers:
Mystery Ti frame
Rotor System Cranks (Ti spindle/ 54t C.ring)
White Form.F.F. Hubs
Black DTRev. Spokes
Orange Deep-V Swimmer (Sperm) rims
Orange-stripe Maxxis Detonator Tires
Brooks B-17 (brown/Ti rails)
Litespeed 80mm Ti quill Stem
Titec Flatbar, cut but not chopped.
Orange or clear grips.
Mosso Ti Seatpost
Tensile 18t Freewheel
17t Rockwerks track cog
FMF hollow-pin chain
Winwood Tourist Carbon fork (Unless I find A 1" thread(able) Ti with a 230mm steerer, HAHAHA)

I'm not paying $389 for matching Crank Bros. pedals (Candy 4 Ti Orange) But I want white or orange clipless.

I'm very open to suggestions for a Ti Front Brake, and a MTB/BMX/flatbar lever that can be removed without removing the grips from the bars. This one will actually see some Velodrome miles. A carbon Cyclocross fork would be cool if I found a Ti V-brake or a cool Canti.
