Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

single, I hate chain tensioners though, I luckily got it pretty close without using one... That chain has been on there a couple months, I'll keep buying new chains if I have to.

Wire + tape = you're set.

Just you'd need new levers once you do it.

Sorry, but guys are wrong. the old cannondale track bikes have track ends similar to the 3.0 crit frames, where the end is cantilevered away from the stays. The newer bikes have standard looking track ends.

Also, dont forget about the integrated headset and quill stem.

that one is different looking because that's not the stock fork (straight blade instead of traditional), stock paint, or stock decals.

So I sold the Pake and turned the Capo into my daily commuter, then I got this from my brother...now I use this on the track. Since someone posted that I needed a better frame for the HEDs than the Capo, it's not much of an improvement but it has true track geometry and a little bit heavy overall(17lbs.) but still light for a steel frame. Can you guess what the frame is? The SJF decals are just the SJfixed.org stickers. Not a Kilo but the frame is powder coated...hint, it's chrome underneath.

Also, the fact that it uses a 1" Threaded headset should be a dead give away. The newer Capo are 1 1/8" Threadless. I should know because I have a Capo and a couple of my friends have the Cannondale Track.

The lettering is neglible, as that was a respray.

The dropouts, geo & headset situation is the giveaway, but when you've lusted after a frameset you just know
