Seeing all these Affinity pursuit bikes has me jealous...

Anyways was out and about and took some shots of my bike. Thinking a different crank set since I'm looking to get a bigger chainring soon.

I've since readjusted it. The pic was taken on my first ride. Honestly, I rode for awhile like that and it was super comfortable. The angle of the pic makes the bars look bigger. They're nitto rb021's. Someone asked about frame size... Its their small frame, I think its considered a 52. Fits me well. Thanks for the comments.

Oh, and I love that Masi that was just posted up!

Damn, the jackass saddle angle and humongous bars keep the sexy away from this build :o

adriano 01-28-09 09:13 AM

again im not winning any photography contests with this phone snap, and parts are going on day by day. in my defense, the saddle tilt will be fixed and seems exaggerated in this picture, and, of course, this is a project in progress.

Has anyone seen the leader episode of the Simpsons? Homer says: "This bean looks like the leader, and so does this one." It's pretty funny; good times, good times! That's all I can think about when I see leader bikes. Note, I am not insulting the bikes, rather, I am sharing my thoughts. Also, I see a lot of individuals posting those unique bullhorn bars, but they look a little different from the bulls I'm use to (i.e. the black kilo tt above photographed in the snow) are they made for comfort or speed?

Who wants to be the first to post my bike with its new bars to the jackass thread?

i picked up a pair of new Tektro Rx 4.1 levers (only use one) off ebay for less than $30.

I like them quite a bit on my bullhorns.

inertiadreamer 01-28-09 04:28 PM

Thanks for the compliments guys, appreciate it

I just run a basic Tektro 510A w/ Tektro Brake lever. I don't really use them that much but they work well enough for me to not have any issues. Personally I prefer cross levers more, since when I'm usually riding in traffic where there is a possibility of me using them, I wouldn't be down in the drops.

not feelin that white affinity.
saddle is so angled, no like the tyres, no like the bars,

sick frame though.
