I agree with drac... I say get some campy track pedals. The campagnolo victory pedals would look pretty sweet, too.

get nos leather campy straps too if you can find them. or at least the little plastic ends that you screw on, with the campy shield. i think they come with the crappy nylon campy straps (white and blue). i would use those campy end-caps on some oldschool binda straps. juicy combo.

thanks guys!
and how did you know that i'm 17!?
anyways, I work at my super duper LBS as an apprentice on the weekends.
(also, the current track bike prices trend didn't apply to mine)
oh and I also won an xbox360 before it was released and sold it for a rediculous amount of money.

I also got my previously fondled GT to post up in the next week or so, courtesy of raygunner! much thanks!

That is really nice. Love the Super Turbo. I'm curious about the SP tubing, though. Did Marinoni recommend that, and (if you don't mind me asking) how much do you weigh?

its alright.
I weight in at 152 pounds.
and I'm the 3rd owner of the bike. It was first purchased in around 1993. So I didn't have a say on what tubeset Marinoni should build the frame with.
Not sure exactly what year the frame was made.

and from www.framebuilding.com
it says this about Columbus SP:

Steel. Recommended for larger standard size frames. Best suited to heavy riders for track events or road races on uneven surfaces

so i'm guessing SP was the heaviest and beefiest tubeset?

oh and I found the picture of the c-record grouppo!
https://www.campyonly.com/images/cata...ecordpista.jpg
I guess i'm missing the metal dustcaps (DAMN!)
and the pedals.

I have ridden some great frames built with Columbus SP or SPX. Not the lightest, but it should be perfect for a track frame. I wish it was still available.

Bridgestone XO. Mainly just drivetrain shots here, old Sugino RT cranks that have lasted the years, and some old chromo eggbeaters. Looks so nice with the grey 1/8" KMC chain that was sitting on the shelf for a couple bucks.

my new fixed gear/ss build
I'm finally getting all of the parts together for this new build and all I need left is some brake cables my new crankset and some bartape and then put the brakes on. I can't wait for this to be finished. I'll post some outside pics when the build is finished.
